PUBG Mobile Pro-Tier Calendar 2023: PUBG Mobile Esports announces the schedule of the upcoming PUBG Mobile competitions
Commencing later this month is the PUBG MOBILE Pro League (PMPL), with its Southeast Asia division kicking things off in February and running until the end of the month.
“Following an excellent start to 2023 with the conclusion of the 2022 PMGC, we’re pleased to share the full schedule of our amazing line-up of pro-tier competitions for this year,” said James Yang, Director of PUBG MOBILE Global Esports. “From the PMPL which is due to commence later this month, to the PMGC Grand Finals in December, our competitive ecosystem has never been stronger and we can’t wait to see the reaction from our fans.”
PMPL will then host the Americas Championship, which kicks off with its North American division in March, closing out in April, followed by Brazil and Latin American subregions from March to May. Running alongside these events is the Africa subdivision of the Pro League Middle East & Africa Championship which is scheduled for March to April and the Arabia subdivision, which will run from May to June. The European Championship, featuring subdivisions Türkiye and Europe is also set to kick off this year, with dates to be announced soon.
PUBG MOBILE Regional Clash has also increased in scale for 2023. The series allows fans to witness their favorite regional teams go head-to-head outside of PUBG MOBILE Esports’ global tournaments.
The announcement of the full 2023 pro schedule follows after a series of major changes were announced earlier this year to the PUBG MOBILE esports program. It was revealed that the PMPL would be expanded through the introduction of a SEA Wild Card (PH/KH/MM/SG), which covers the Philippines, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Singapore regions. It was also detailed that PUBG MOBILE Esport’s official tournaments will be transitioning to a 10-point system in order to make the competition more exciting and competitive.
