The past few weeks have been quite a rough battle for popular Twitch streamer Imane “Pokimane” Anys to fight, as she had to constantly put up with online trolls and defend her from targeted harassment. Amidst all these furore, a rumor about Pokimane doing drugs on one of her old streams had started drawing everyone’s attention, which she later debunked. However, she again had to encounter fresh allegations which claim that OfflineTV paid for her rehabilitation program. This all started when on January 12, she was targeted for mass online abuse when Jidion’s viewers were directed to spam her stream with “L+Ratio”. This left her dejected and forced her to leave the stream midway. Meanwhile, Fortnite star Ninja and his wife Jessica Blevins threatened to sue her over defamation, when she shared a clip alleging Ninja of trying to help Jidion after his permaban.

Moreover, she continued to face abusive trolls, following an old video of the streamer doing ‘drugs’ resurfaced on the Internet. Although Pokimane quashed the rumor by revealing how sugar had been mistaken for drugs, she recently came across a video from The Sync where they were discussing the same. They called her a “drug abuser” and went ahead to mention how Offline TV paid for her rehab program.

With channels hypothesizing over her old video, the Moroccan-Canadian streamer was completely baffled. She scoffed at such comments and said, “OTV got me a rehab facility? Defamation lawsuit incoming, I mean that’s an actual lie. For starters, if I ever had a drug addiction, I would pay for my own rehab. OTV don’t need to got me, I got me. But the absurdity of that statement is absolutely unbelievable.”

Pokimane went ahead to reveal that she hasn’t even smoked once in her life and suggested youngsters to stay away from drug addiction as she elaborated about its detrimental effect. Moreover, she pointed out how the YouTube channel The Sync made the “dumbest and least credible” statement only to grab people’s attention.
