Pokemon Legends Arceus: New Gameplay trailer- Nintendo Switch will be getting a new Pokemon gaming title called Pokemon Legends Arceus. The game was revealed last year in the Pokemon Presents event. It will be a part of the 25th Anniversary release of Pokemon and was going to be released alongside Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Many Pokemon veterans can infer this from the title of the game. The mythical Pokemon Arceus will play an active role in the story of the game. Looking at the gameplay trailer, we can see the resemblance of the graphics with another popular title, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. There are various biomes present that players can traverse, from grasslands, snowy mountains, forests, coasts, etc. Many wild Pokemons can also be seen roaming around in different environments.

Pokemon Legends Arceus Game Details
The upcoming Pokemon Legends Arceus is set to release on 28th January. It will be available on the Nintendo Switch platforms. Although it looks like an open-world game from the gameplay trailer, The Pokemon Company has already clarified that it is not so.
Pokémon Legends Arceus is an action role-playing game that follows the core gameplay style of previous Pokemon titles. The game is set in the past era of the Sinnoh region’s history when it was called the Hisui region. From this, we can confirm that this game story takes place long before the events of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl and its other remakes. The main objective in the game might be to create the Hisui region’s first Pokédex. Players can also expect the mythical Pokémon Arceus to play a major role in the story.
From the gameplay trailer, we can also see that while some wild Pokémons can be directly captured, some of the other large Pokemons must be fought and defeated to be captured. The Pokeballs of this period were made of wood and puffed steam when the Pokemon was caught. When players start the game, they get to choose from the three Pokemon options: Rowlet (from Pokemon Sun and Moon), Cyndaquil (from Pokemon Gold and Silver), and Oshawott (from Pokemon Black and White).
