Before a new Pokemon title gets released, developers have always faced an issue of their game getting leaked out and available to download illegally. Many sources have confirmed that Pokemon Legends: Arceus has been leaked online and data miners have gone through the code to share with the Pokemon community about what to expect in this upcoming Pokemon title. This has been taking place even though the game will be released on 28th January, which is 5 days from the time of writing this article.

Apart from the leak of the game code, developers are also worried about the channels on Twitch and YouTube who have installed the leaked version and are now uploading in-game footage. Some of these channels are also streaming the playthrough of the leaked Pokemon Legends: Arceus online.
From what we know, the few people who had received the game early for testing purposes have leaked its files on illegal custom ROM websites. Thus people who access these websites can download the leaked version and play the game using a Nintendo Switch emulator. Moreover, due to the hype built around the game, these videos are already garnering a massive number of views, reaching even more than 100k on some popular ones.
Even other social media platforms like Reddit and Twitter are also having leaked gameplay videos of Pokemon Legends: Arceus being uploaded there. These videos show players how to clear the first section of the game.

You should never download such illegal versions of any game because the game files of these leaked versions might be corrupted or contain malicious malware. Installing and running such leaked versions can compromise your system. Rather than watching all the leaked gameplay and getting spoilers, players just need to wait for a week till the game is officially released on Nintendo Switch.
