Niantic announces the details of the upcoming Pokémon GO March 2024 Community Day. This month’s community day will take place on Saturday, March 16, 2024! Trainers can Raid, trade, and explore while catching Litten, the Fire Cat Pokémon. Check out the detailed information below:
Pokémon GO March 2024 Community Day: Featured Pokémon
Litten will appear more frequently in the wild.
Featured attack – Evolve Torracat (Litten’s Evolution) during the event or up to five hours afterward to get an Incineroar that knows the Charged Attack Blast Burn.

The latest Community Day meetups will take place on Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time (IST in India). The virtual trainer meetups will be held in seventeen cities across India, including New Delhi’s Lodhi Gardens, Mumbai’s Horniman Circle Garden, Pune’s Saras Baug, Gurugram’s Leisure Valley Park, Jaipur’s Jawahar Circle, Bengaluru’s Statue of Edward VII in Cubbon Park, Kanpur’s Kargil Park, Vadodara’s Kamatibaug, Indore’s Lalbagh Garden, Kolkata’s Lions Safari Park in Rabindra Sarovar Lake, Varanasi’s Shaheed Udyaan Nagar Nigam, Patna’s Science Center, Chennai’s Tower Park in Anna Nagar, Hyderabad’s Indira Park, Lucknow’s Lohia Park, Ahmedabad’s Parimal Garden and Thiruvananthapuram’s The Napier Museum.
Attack availability updates
Starting with the event and continuing afterwards, Incineroar will be able to learn the Charged Attack Darkest Lariat.

- Trainer Battles: 120 power
- Gyms and raids: 80 power
Event Bonuses
- 3× XP for catching Pokémon
- 2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
- 2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon.
- Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
- Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours.
- Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise!
- Trades will require 50% less Stardust.*
- One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of two for the day.*
While most bonuses are only active during the three-hour event period, these bonuses will be active from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. local time (IST in India).

Bonus Raid Battles after Pokémon GO March 2024 Community Day
After the three-hour Community Day event ends, Trainers will be able to take on special four-star Raid Battles. Claiming victory in one of these raids will cause more Litten to appear around the Gym that hosted the raid for 30 minutes!
Four-star Raid Battles – Torracat will be appearing in four-star raids! You can only join these raids using Raid Passes and Premium Battle Passes. Remote Raid Passes cannot be used to join these Raid Battles.
Bonus for completing four-star Raid Battles – Once you successfully complete a four-star Raid Battle against Torracat, additional Litten will appear around the Gym that hosted the raid for 30 minutes. If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny one!
