It was back in December 2020 when trainers were able to catch Galarian Mr Mime by purchasing a ticket for the ‘Tap… Tap… Tappity-Tap…’ Special Research story. Pokemon GO: Galarian Mr Mime encounter in Holidays 2021
For trainers, the only way to encounter a Galarian Mr. Mime is by completing the limited-time Timed Research challenges in the Holidays 2021 event. There will be two such challenges during the Winter Holidays 2021 Part 2. By going through and completing each of the, you can earn a Galarian Mr. Mime encounter in both. This will increase your chances of getting one.

An additional way to find a Galarian Mr. Mime will be through the mini-event called Winter Wonderland Challenge. Pokemon GO trainers will need to complete the Winter Wonderland Collection Challenge that starts on 25th December at 10 AM local time. The Winter Wonderland event will continue until 31st December, ending at 8 PM local time. In this limited time, trainers can complete all the challenging tasks to earn a Galarian Mr Mime encounter as a reward.

Pokemon GO: Winter Wonderland Challenges
To complete the Winter Wonderland Challenges, trainers need to trade Ice-type Pokemons. It will continue from 25 December till 31st December 2021. This is a list of the Ice-type Pokemons that you need to trade during this time.
- Swinub
- Snorunt
- Spheal
- Snover
- Vanillite
- Cubchoo
The catch here is that trainers need to successfully trade these Pokemons with others after capturing them. Therefore, you need one or multiple friends with whom you can complete these tasks.
Trainers will be able to trade with others that live within a maximum distance of 40 kilometres from their location. This is a good opportunity to strive for, especially if you wish to have a higher chance of getting a Galarian Mr Mime.
