Modern Warfare II- BETA Dates for PlayStation, Xbox and PC: Modern Warfare II, the upcoming future of Call of Duty, is slated to release for October 28, this year. However, before the game can launch, players will have a chance to go though it. The open BETA dates for Modern Warfare II have been announced. Players all over the world will be able to drop in if they have BETA codes and play the title for the first time. Modern Warfare II is a revamped version of 2019 Modern Warfare title from Infinity Ward. It is not an entirely new game but the multiplayer experience has been updated. New mechanics are also expected to be added, making it a lot different from Vanguard. Many in the COD community have complained that Vanguard is the worst COD of the modern era. Therefore, Infinity Ward must have a huge advantage to make the upcoming title better than its predecessor. Before the global launch, players can play Modern Warfare II in September, if they have BETA codes.
Open BETA, PlayStation BETA, Xbox BETA dates revealed for Call of Duty Modern Warfare II
During the CDL 2022 Championship finals between LA Thieves and Atlanta FaZe, Infinity Ward Director of Communications pulled out a segment where she revealed the upcoming BETA gameplay dates for Modern Warfare II. The beta will take place across two weekends. The Open Beta is reserved for last where players can test out cross-play.
Below are the dates as announced:
- Weekend One: PlayStation Exclusive- September 16-17 Early access for PS players
- Open Beta for PlayStation- September 18-20
- Weekend Two: Early access beta for Xbox + PC- September 22-23
- Open Beta for ALL platforms: September 24-26
Players will be able to play all new maps, new modes and weapons in multiplayer. San Marina Grand Prix map has already been announced and it will be the highlight of the Beta play.

Players who are wondering how to get access to the beta will simply have to pre-order Modern Warfare II to get a code. Then on the date announced players can jump in to the new title with their codes. Players can also keep a track on the socials of Infinity Ward to get their hands on a BETA code.
