Fortnite x Star Wars has been a success story over the years. Therefore, it is no surprise that Epic Games will take up the opportunity to collaborate with the popular space fantasy franchise. With Darth Vader already on the island, it is only a matter of time until his son makes an appearance in the game.

Following the v21.10 update in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3, several files have been added to the game. Most of these files work towards the recent changes already made to the game. However, some of these in-game documents contain information regarding future updates.
Data miners revealed that a new lightsaber got added for him. The file has been codenamed NPC. Therefore, if speculations are correct, then the Fortnite x Luke Skywalker collaboration will see the character arrive as an NPC.
It is also speculated that the NPC may work similarly to the Darth Vader one in Chapter 3 Season 3.
Epic Games is yet to release a statement regarding the upcoming collaboration. Therefore, it is quite difficult to state with certainty the actual release date of the NPC. However, given the major leak that has been exposed, gamers can expect the character to be added very soon.

Loopers should note that popular data miner Shiina took to social media to release a massive inside news a few weeks ago. The leak stated that Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, and Leia Organa are expected to come to the game later this year or in 2023.
Since Fortnite x Luke Skywalker looks confirmed, it is to be seen if the other characters from the fan-favorite franchise will make their way to the game.
