More hints towards Warzone Mobile, Call of Duty Warzone, the battle royale version of COD on PC has made the Call of Duty series 10 times more popular on PC. Fans are really enjoying CODM anniversary updates these days.

Weeks after we saw a job lisiting on the Activision website looking for a Features Executive Producer for warzone, now we Warzone Mobile has its own subreddit!

Activision Blizzard wants to significantly expand into mobile gaming, over the weekend Activision Blizzard president and COO Daniel Alegre said “enabling [Activision’s] franchises on billions of mobile devices” is “by far [its] biggest opportunity.” He added it wants to capitalize on this and plan to bring all of the company’s franchises to mobile.

CODM does have a battle royale mode on it, but it feels lackluster especially to PUBG players who look for realism in the game. The game has crossed 300 million downloads in just a year. Activision president Rob Kostich said Activision sees “a big opportunity to further connect the mobile experience to what’s happening on console and PC and [this] includes Warzone.”

Kostich outlines China as a strong potential market for mobile expansion, where Call of Duty: Mobile has been approved and is now in “final testing.” But it’s not just China that Activision Blizzard is looking to, as Kostich reveals that “Mexico and Brazil are top five markets for us in terms of both installs and revenue.”

It’s worth remembering that Activision Blizzard closed a deal to acquire developer King back in 2016. The Candy Crush developer is renowned in the mobile gaming space, with the developer’s games topping 271 million users worldwide in the second quarter of 2020, a combined figure from Candy Crush, Bubble Witch Saga, and Farmville Saga.
