Match 1
The grand finals kicked off in style with an explosive 3v4 face-off between Team XO and Team Forever. Team XO did put up a tough competition but it was Oasis and the boys that took the chicken dinner with a whopping 15 kills. Team Forever wouldn’t have expected a better start than this. Coming back much stronger than league stage, a lead like this in the first match indeed releases a lot of pressure.
Match 2
There’s been a few allegations that Team X Spark has been specifically targeting Godlike Esports to throw them off-balance. Well, they did something similar in the second match as well as Team X Spark crippled the Godlike Esports roster in the Miramar final zone with their lethal split attack plan. Taking out MVPs like Jonathan and Clutchgod, Scout and his team ruled the hilltops and wiped every team struggling at the bottom. Team X Spark secured 28 points along with the chicken dinner.
Match 3
The third match was a clear example of how one-sided battle royale matches can be when you have the zone advantage. Moreover, when you top it off with some high ground advantage that literally offers you an eagle-eye view of the entire zone, the opponents are better off with white flags rather than with guns to out up a fight. It was more like a fishing dinner for Marcos Gaming that gave them a boost of 25 points from the match.
Match 4
Sanhok final zones are popular for guerilla warfare and when the circle ends inside popular hot drops like Paradise Resort, it just gets a lot more intense. Packing multiple teams in that tiny little space, nobody was able to blink for a second due to the intense firefights. And jokes apart, that was some level of overconfident entry by Owasis as he received his punishment in full. Nevertheless, team Mayhem clutched the heal battle circle with a total of 10 kills.
Match 5
It was a 2v2v1 disadvantage situation for Gill from Team X Spark, but when you have nerves like him, it is one of the easiest wins you can hope for. With his unparalleled patience, he converted the whole situation to a 1v1 duel and finished Gamlaboy from Skylights gaming with a number of untraceable pixel peaks. Gamlaboy never stood a chance and it was the second chicken dinner of the day for Team X Spark. Although Team X Spark scored 24 points from the match, TSM had secured an insane 17 kills from the match, thus they became the top scorer of the match with 27 points.
Match 6
It was another Shelter side zone of the day but Team XO this team clean swiped all the survivors in the zone and reigned supreme till the end. Due to all the clouds of smoke screens, it eventually became a warzone of throwables. With an incredible number of 16 frags, TeamXO secured 31 points from the match.

BGMI The Grind finals Day 1 Summary: What to expect from Day 2?
Team XO and Team Forever are at the top of their game when it comes to consistency. And with only six more matches to go, the rest of the teams must take a huge leap to catch up to them. However, Godlike Esports, the all-time favourites are breathing at their neck. Team X Spark, even with two chicken dinners sits at fourth place with some heavy consistency issues, let’s see how they manage to improve on that department on the final day.
On the other hand, hopes are pretty low for favourites like SouL and OR Esports who are lagging at the bottom of the table. However, scoring a chicken dinner on the final day may satisfy their huge fanbase. Hyderabad Hydras has been a shocking letdown on day 1.
