In the gaming world, though many of you Rockstar fans might be eager for the upcoming Grand Theft Auto release that has well been spreading in the rumors, there are a lot of reasons why an even sooner revival is in makings : The Red Dead Redemption remastered. Though a Red Dead Redemption remastered has been rumored time and time again, a recent leak by Insider suggests that fans can not only be expecting the launch sooner-in-future, it can also be a successor for the upcoming GTA Trilogy launch, which is aimed by Rockstar as early as December 6 in physical form.

Red Dead Redemption 2 remasteredWhile the particular leak is yet to be confirmed, based on the development of Read Dead 2 and the developer’s comments about a future GTA game as well as the recent rumors of Dr. Dre working on a new song track for GTA, there’s a strong case to make for either of the games’ launches.

Any project based on the remake or remaster original Red Dead Redemption wouldn’t necessarily require all the resources needed to develop a full game. The project could follow in the foot-marks of GTA Trilogy, where updates have been made in modernization and graphics. It could provide a new pedestal for the developers, allowing the studio to experiment with other kinds of processes without having to deal with any pressure of releasing a truly large-scaled game like Red Dead Redemption 2.

RED dead redemptionIf GTA Trilogy’s development would be in full swing now, the developers would surely be facing a time crunch if Red Dead Redemption is also on their worksheets. So it’s hard to tell the ultimate consequences of this scenario, but it’s surely a win-win for all the gamers out there; hopefully this isn’t as stressful for the developers and a return of one of the most popular games, Red Dead Redemption remastered, presumably on PS5 and Xbox Series X.
