Ajit Agarkar while addressing the customary pre-match press conference said that Nortje will soon be back. He also said Lungi Ngidi and Mutafizur Rahman will also be seen in the coming few games. The DC assistant coach was happy to see Kuldeep Yadav doing well. “He has been a fantastic bowler for a long time. Every time he bowls well he will get you wickets. Very happy with his performance.”
DC will take on the newbie GT on Saturday, April 02 at MCA stadium in Pune.

Anrich Nortje is yet to be 100% fit, but fellow South African Lungi Ngidi and Mustafizur Rahman are now available having completed their quarantine. Despite the availability of Ngidi and Mustafizur, DC are likely to play only one of the two, with Khaleel Ahmed impressing against the Delhi Capitals in the season opener.
While the bowling has been strengthened the batting remains a cause of concern especially after the failures of Rovman Powell and Mandeep Singh in the 1st game. The onus will be on Rishabh Pant to lead from the front till the time Warner or Marsh join in.
