Earlier, opting to bat, Chennai Super Kings posted 223/3 after 20 overs. Openers Ruturaj Gaikwad (79) and Devon Conway (87) were excellent with the bat as they completed their fifties. All-rounders Shivam Dube and Ravindra Jadeja also played some decent cameos with the bat toward the latter part of the innings.
CSK were unchanged while Ishant Sharma misses out for DC. Lalit Yadav is back with the pitch likely to assist spinners. In order to advance to the playoffs, CSK need to win their last league game.
