MS Dhoni: Yogi Babu – Chennai Super Kings (CSK) search for Ambati Rayudu’s replacement might end soon as Tollywood Actor Yogi Babu is gearing up to play for CSK in place of Rayudu for the IPL 2024 season. During the audio launch of Let’s Get Married (LGM), Dhoni had casually told Yogi about playing in the crucial role. Seems the Actor is taking the CSK skipper’s advice seriously and has hit the nets.
The Tollywood actor’s fan page uploaded a video, wherein he was seen playing a leg glance. The video went viral in no time, and fans started to flood the comments section with hilarious comments. One of the users wrote, “Upcoming CSK middle order batter.” Another one commented, “He is already practicing to full tilt to replace Rayudu.” CSK are yet to announce a replacement for Rayudu, Dhoni & Co have about four months to decide on the veteran player’s replacement.

IPL 2024 auction will likely be held in late December during India’s tour of South Africa. “Yes, we are aware of that. It will not be on Christmas Eve for sure. We will try to look at a comfortable date for all,” a BCCI official in the know told Insidesport.
MS Dhoni: Ambati Rayudu pips Ruturaj Gaikwad to be the next CSK leader
Meanwhile, Rayudu has tipped Ruturaj Gaikwad as the successor to Dhoni. The former CSK player feels Gaikwad has a good temperament and a measured approach.
“Coming to the future, I think Ruturaj has a great chance. He has those leadership qualities in him. So if Mahi bhai grooms him, say a year or so, then he can lead the team for 7-8 or even 10 years. He is in good hands with Mahi bhai and Fleming. He is calm, down-to-earth, and extremely talented,” said Rayudu while speaking to BehindWoods TV.
“India makes the best use of him (Gaikwad). I don’t think they are at the moment. He should be playing every format for India,” he added.
For now, Dhoni is yet to retire from IPL. Currently, the legendary cricketer is in Ranchi rehabilitating after knee surgery in Mumbai.
