In the FIR, the minor girl said that Yasir Shah mocked at her when she approached him on Whatsapp to reveal the incident.
“When I approached Yasir on WhatsApp and told him about the incident, he made fun of me and said that he likes underage girls,” the complainant alleged in the FIR.
Further, the girl alleged that the 35-year-old spinner had warned her against reaching to the police, saying that he was ” a very influential person”. She went on to claim that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa-born Test cricketer offered her a flat when she approached the authorities.
“Yasir Shah said that he was a very influential person and that he knew a high-ranking official […] Yasir Shah and Farhan make videos and rape underage girls,” she alleged.
“The national cricketer proposed to buy me a flat and bear my expenses for the next 18 years,” she added.
Responding to the FIR against Yasir Shah, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said that it had “noted that some allegations have been levelled against one of our Centrally Contracted players”.
“The PCB is presently gathering information at its end and will only offer a comment when in possession of complete facts,” PCB said in a statement.
Yasir Shah is one of the most important members of the Pakistan Test team with 235 wickets to his name in 46 matches. He last played for Pakistan in the first Test against West Indies at Sabina Park, Kingston in August this year. He holds the record of fastest Test bowler to take 200 wickets.
