WTC Standings 2023-25: New Zealand equal Bangladesh with Mirpur Test win, Pakistan on top

New Zealand have jumped to third in World Test Championship Standings after securing a win against Bangladesh in the 2nd Test.

WTC Standings 2023-25: New Zealand have secured a 1-1 series draw after a thrilling four-wicket win in 2nd Test in Mirpur. The win helped New Zealand gain valuable PCT and level with Bangladesh with 50 percentage points. Pakistan remains at the top with 100% percentage points, Pakistan are leading India who are 2nd with 66.67 PCT. Australia are fifth with 30%.

IND vs WI: In the two-match Test series, India won the first game while the second game ended in a draw. Despite the draw in the second game, the Asian side will be happy to start the fresh WTC cycle on a winning note. India will take on South Africa in their next series in December-January away.

ENG vs AUS Ashes: In a dramatic turn of events, Australia collapsed in the chase of 384. From 264/4, Australia were bowled out for 334. Stuart Broad, who is hanging up his boots, delivered the final wicket to avert an Australia series win. However, Australia retain Ashes 2-2. After Ashes, Australia face Pakistan at home in December-January.

BAN vs NZ: After securing a historic win in Sylhet, Bangladesh batting led to their defeat in the 2nd Test. The hosts scored 172 and 144 in both innings. While the spinners tried to make a contest out of it, New Zealand all-rounder Glenn Phillips’ aggressive knocks led the visitors to win.
