WPL 2025 start date out, BCCI adds two new venues

Alongside Mumbai and Bengaluru, Lucknow and Baroda will also host WPL 2025 matches.

WPL start date: The Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 is set to begin on February 7, 2025, and will continue until March 02, 2025. This year, the tournament promises to be an electrifying showcase of women’s cricket, featuring five competitive teams. The WPL, organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), has gained immense popularity and serves as a platform for women cricketers to exhibit their talent on a global stage. Apart from releasing the WPL 2025 start date, BCCI has also added two new venues for the upcoming competition.

WPL 2025 start date & venues

As stated above, WPL 2025 is starting on February 7. The BCCI has also added two new venues for the WPL 2025. Along with Mumbai and Bengaluru, the WPL 2025 will also be played in Baroda and Lucknow this year. The exact number of matches at each venue is not known as the WPL schedule is not yet out.
