After the Indian Premier League (IPL) is now time for the Women’s Premier League (WPL) Auction. As WPL heads into its third edition, a total of 120 players will go down the hammer in Bengaluru. 91 Indians and 29 foreign stars will be a part of the WPL 2025 Auction on 15th December.
The stage is set in Bengaluru as the Women’s Premier League (WPL) which has gained a lot of attention over the past two years. The WPL is the BCCI’s new initiative in promoting Women’s cricket in India and for all the world to see. Last month on 7th November, all 5 Teams announced their retention list and now it is time for the auction.
When is WPL 2025 Auction?
The BCCI has announced that 15th December, Sunday would be the day when the 120 players will be going under the hammer. The place for the auction is ITC Gardenia in Bengaluru. As all the teams have retained their core and most of the players, only a few spots are thus up for grabs.
Despite this, there is a high anticipation among the fans for this upcoming auction.
