World Cup 2023: Ahmedabad will host the India vs Pakistan game at the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup later this year. The Narendra Modi Stadium is the largest cricket stadium in the world and more than 100,000 fans will gather at the venue to watch the rivalry. As per reports, the match will be played on October 15. As per Cricbuzz, Ahmedabad will host the iconic India vs Pakistan Game during the World Cup. Previously, Pakistan media reported PCB’s reluctance to play at Ahmedabad. However, as per latest reports, Pakistan have no concerns over the arrangements.

The Narendra Modi Stadium will also host the World Cup opener. The match will be a repeat of the 2019 World Cup finals, with England facing off against NewZealand. The venue will also host the World Cup Final, likely to be played on November 19.

India will play the first match of the showpiece event against Australia at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. After facing the five-time World Cup Champions Australia, India are likely to play against Pakistan on October 15. The Board of Control for Cricket (BCCI) will soon release the schedule after the conclusion of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 season.

All teams will play 9 League stage games just like the previous World Cup. 2 Qualifiers will join the Top 8 sides after a qualifying tournament in Zimbabwe. The top 4 teams will make it to the semifinals.
