World 2023 Warm-up Schedule out, Guwahati, Thiruvananthapuram & Hyderabad host matches from Sep 29

Guwahati, Thiruvananthapuram and Hyderabad will host a total of 10 warm-up games as the ICC World Cup 2023 comes to India. Each team will play a couple of warm-up matches in the build-up to the tournament. India play England in Guwahati, while they travel to Thiruvananthapuram to play a qualifier.

All warm-up games will be played between September 29 and October 3. The World Cup 2023 schedule kicks off on October 5, with England taking on New Zealand in Ahmedabad.

As per ESPNCricinfo, England will play Guwahati in Guwahati on October 2, while New Zealand takes on South Africa in Thiruvananthapuram on the same day. England and New Zealand then travel to Ahmedabad for the World Cup 2023 opener on October 5.

India will play one of the qualifiers in the final warm up fixture in Thiruvananthapuram on October 3. Sri Lanka, West Indies, Netherlands, Oman, Scotland and Zimbabwe in contention are in contention for the final two spots.
