Women’s PSL: PCB’s Ramiz Raja ready to trump BCCI -While the BCCI is yet to launch a full-fledged Women’s IPL, PCB chief Ramiz Raja is ready to overtake India by becoming the first Asian cricket board to launch women’s T20 franchise league.
“Women’s PSL is also on my mind. Hopefully, we can become the first cricket board in Asia to launch it (a women’s T20 franchise league),” he said in a video released by Pakistan Cricket.

As of now, the only global women’s T20 league is Women’s BBL (Big Bash League). England had recently conducted The Hundred for women, its second tournament after Women’s Super League.
India has previously hosted a T20 challenge for women’s cricketers but only featuring three teams with just a handful of matches.
As many as 8 Indian women cricketers are current;y taking part in the Women’s Big Bash (ongoing 7th edition of WBBL)– Poonam Yadav (Brisbane Heat), Richa Ghosh (Hobart Hurricanes), Harmanpreet Kaur (Melbourne Renegades), Jemimah Rodrigues (Melbourne Renegades), Shafali Verma (Sydney Sixers), Radha Yadav (Sydney Sixers), Deepti Sharma (Sydney Thunder), Smriti Mandhana (Sydney Thunder).
For Pakistan, All-rounder Nida Dar created history by becoming the first player to play in the Women’s Big Bash League by making her debut for Sydney Thunder.
Reportedly, Pakistan has only had a women’s international team since 1997. Listed below are some of the regular players in the Pakistan women squad.

It is notable that Pakistan’s Super League came into existence in 2015, 7 years after the birth of IPL— World’s biggest and richest T20 league.
