Athapaththu is the leading run scorer at the event with 83 runs and that has seen the left-hander jump one spot to ninth. Australia’s Tahlia McGrath continues to lead the chart.

Athapaththu also jumps to places to 12 on the list for all-rounders, while teammates Harshita Samarawickrama (up nine spots to 43rd on the list for batters) and Inoka Ranaweera (up 11 spots to 18th for bowlers) too make giant strides.

Australia and England are among the other unbeaten sides at the T20 World Cup to date and experienced Aussie opener Alyssa Healy moved up two spots to seventh on the latest list for batters after a classy half-century against the Kiwis first-up.
