WI vs SL: West Indies to tour Sri Lanka for two-match test series in Nov – Dec 2021
As per the media release by SLC, Sri Lanka Cricket will host the West Indies National Team for a two-match test series during the months of November – December 2021. The windies side is said to arrive in Sri Lanka on the 10th of November 2021.
The visitors will play a 4-day warmup game in Colombo ahead of the 1st Test match that is scheduled for 21st – 25th November at the Galle International Cricket Stadium. The second and final Test will be played between 29th Nov to 3rd Dec 2021at the same venue.
Both the Test matches will be played under a bio-bubble environment at the Galle International Cricket Stadium.
As per the media release, the series will also mark the commencement of Sri Lanka’s and the West Indies Journey in the 2023 ICC World Test Championship Cycle.
