Saurav Chauhan is a left-handed batter who was bought by Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 auction. 

Saurav Chauhan has made his debut in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in a match against Rajasthan Royals (RR). Chauhan is the left-hand batter who bats up the order. He was bought by RCB in IPL 2024 for INR 20 lakh.

Chauhan made headlines with his fastest half-century in 13- balls in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy before Ashutosh Sharma broke the record with 11 balls.

In the IPL 2024, Royal Challengers Bangalore has picked up the 23-year-old for a basic price of ₹20 Lakhs.

Chauhan debuted on the Vijay Hazare Trophy List A later that year in December.

Saurav made his first-class cricketing debut for Gujarat in February 2022. Saurav has participated in 19 T20 matches during his career, amassing 464 runs at a strike-rate of 152.13 and an average of 29, along with four half-centuries and a career-high score of 84 not out.
