On Sunday, Virat Kohli added another remarkable achievement to his illustrious cricket career when he scored a century at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens against the Proteas. This remarkable feat saw him equal the legendary Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 49 One Day International (ODI) centuries. Despite the challenging batting conditions, as acknowledged by Kohli himself, he managed to score unbeaten 101 runs from 121 deliveries. His innings included ten boundaries but no sixes.
In the match, Team India, led by Rohit Sharma, once again displayed their bowling prowess, remaining undefeated in the ODI World Cup 2023. With this win, India will finish at the top of the points table with a match remaining against the Netherlands.
