Watch: Vinod Kambli walks out after Wankhede 50th anniversary celebration with wife helping him

Vinod Kambli was spotted outside Wankhede Stadium with his wife after the 50th-year celebration of the stadium.

Former India and Mumbai cricketer Vinod Kambli was spotted with his wife, Andrea Hewitt, as she assisted him while they walked through Wankhede Stadium to mark the ground’s 50th anniversary. Kambli has faced several health challenges over the years.

Hewitt stood tall and strong beside her husband during tough times, taking care of him even after attending the celebrations.

Hewitt met Kambli around 2000. After dating for six years, the couple tied the knot in a private ceremony in 2006. They are proud parents to a son and a daughter.

Kambli’s health deteriorating every day

Last month, he was hospitalized at Akruti Hospital in Thane after his condition worsened suddenly overnight. Diagnosed with brain clots, he was discharged on New Year’s Day.

As per media reports, Kambli has been facing financial difficulties and depends on a monthly pension of Rs. 30,000 from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to cover his family’s expenses.

His wife recently revealed that their housing society is demanding Rs. 18 lakh in unpaid maintenance fees. It is reported that a political party offered them Rs. 5 lakh as financial assistance, but the amount is insufficient to clear the outstanding dues.
