Shaheen’s scintillating first-over blitz went in vain as the Bears beat Notts by two wickets. After losing four wickets for just seven runs, Bears batter Rob Yates mixed caution with aggression and made composed 46 balls 65 runs.

Notts have a negative NRR and now need to win games if they harbor hopes of reaching the quarterfinals. Speaking about Bears, they are placed first in the North Group, with 20 points. They have lost only three matches and have guaranteed themselves a home quarter-final.
