WATCH Kuldeep Yadav in heated exchange with Rohit Sharma over missed opportunity
Kuldeep Yadav had great day with ball in hand, but a heated argument with skipper Rohit Sharma over DRS review hogged the limelight

Sometimes, the reviews come off, and some other day it does not. The bowlers and wicketkeepers are always in the spotlight of the DRS calls as they can get as close to the batters as anyone else. India are generally good with the DRS, however, during yesterday’s World Cup clash against England, Kuldeep Yadav did not review a decision, which irked skipper Rohit Sharma a bit.

In the 22nd over of the innings, Kuldeep had trapped Liam Livingstone plumb, however, the on-field umpire did not raise a finger. India had two reviews left at that time, but they did not take. Kuldeep was not sure whether it would have been out. Later, replays showed it was crashing the stumps. After the over was over, Kuldeep had a heated argument with Rohit regarding the decision to review.

One of the users shared the video of Kuldeep and Rohit’s argument, and also shared what one of the commentators said about the spat. “You need to be careful with the captain he picks the team,” is what one of the commentators was heard saying.

Luckily for India, the missed review did not hurt, as Livingstone was out for 27 within a few overs. Despite posting just 229, India bowlers were spot on the money as they managed to dismiss England for just 129. Kuldeep had a great day, as he picked up two wickets.
