Kane Williamson leads Kiwis charge as New Zealand prepare against India for World Cup semis clash

The New Zealand Cricket Team faces the dominant Men in Blue in the first semi-finals of the World Cup in Mumbai. Just a day ahead of the mega encounter the Kiwis were spotted practicing in the nets in full swing. Led by their skipper Kane Willamson, the Black Caps will be keen to make it to consecutive World Cup finals and go for the glory after having missed in last time.

If it was the bowlers who dominated the previous practice session, it was the batters today. Especially skipper Kane Williamson who is out on the prowl to score some big and much-needed runs for his side. Tacking pacers and spinners with relative ease, the Kiwis skipper slammed a flurry of sixes, indicating he is ready to face the Men in Blue.

India’s bowling united overall has wreaked havoc to all oppositions. Be it the pace trio of Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, and Mohammed Shami or the spin duo of Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav, the opposition batters have found it hard to tackle Indian bowling.

As a result, taking heavy precaution of the above fact, top batters Kane Williamson and Rachin Ravindra put on extra effort in their practice session ahead of the IND vs NZ World Cup semi finals. Williamson faced some throwdows apart from facing traditional deliveries. Ravindra too looked in deft touch as he faced pacers and spinners.
