Leaked video clips from the set of IPL 2024 promo shoot on Star Sports sets has gone viral on social media, showing India’s star players throwing tantrums while shooting.
The video features KL Rahul, Hardik Pandya, Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant, who are supposed to act out different scenarios related to the IPL. However, things do not go as planned as the players are unhappy with the script, the costumes and the food.
In one video leak, Iyer is seen complaining that he has to wear a dhoti, and shows his frustration to costume designer.
In another video, Rahul is shocked to see the number of pages in the script and says he cannot memorize so many lines. He also questions the logic of the script.
Pandya, who is known for his flamboyant lifestyle and fashion sense, is seen rejecting the Gujarati food that is served to him and demanding something more nutritious.
Pant, who is hailed as the next big thing in Indian cricket, is seen refusing to cry in the promo as written in the script.
The video leak has sparked a lot of reactions from the fans and the media.
The IPL 2024 is scheduled to start from March 22 and will feature 10 teams competing for the coveted trophy. The defending champion Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will face Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the opening game of the season.
