India plays their first match of ICC Champions Trophy on 20th February as they take on Bangladesh

The hype for the ICC Champions Trophy has already started. More importantly, the entire world waits patiently for the mega India vs Pakistan clash. With the game set to take place on 23rd February, Harbhajan Singh and Shoaib Akhtar joined the fray in promoting the mega encounter.

The duo were present in the ILT20 final at the Dubai International Stadium. Harbhajan Singh was spotted holding a plastic bat while Shoaib Akhtar had the ball in his hands. Then the two faced off clashing their chests like fighters ready to go into the battle.

When the two former cricketers had their intense clash in Dubai, the crowd erupted into cheers showcasing how the world awaits the epic encounter between the two rivals. The India vs Pakistan clash will be held at this very stadium, as India refused to travel to Pakistan. India will all their matches in the ICC tournament in Dubai.

Tensions will be high as both teams prepare to face off against each other on 23rd February. The last time the two met in this tournament was in the 2017 finals where the Men in Green emerged as the winners. India, however, last time won the trophy 12 years ago in 2013.

Pakistan as the hosts of the Champions Trophy play the first game of the tournament on 19th Feb as they take on the Kiwis. India on the other hand, plays their first game on 20th February as they prepare to take on Bangladesh.

The two sides have been placed in the same group, along with New Zealand and Bangladesh. Pakistan kickstarts the tournament, against New Zealand, on February 19, while India faces Bangladesh a day later.
