Not even half of Cricket World Cup games have been played but there have been some unbelievable catches so far. It was in 14th over of the NZ vs AFG match when Afghanistan captain Hashmatullah Shahidi was facing Lockie Ferguson. The Kiwi pacer bowled a well-directed short ball to Shahidi who top-edged it to the square leg. Despite being in out of position, Mitchell Santner ran back and leapt to the perfection to pluck it out of thin air with one hand.

For Mitchell Santner, who has been with Chennai Super Kings, it was special as he could enthral his “home” crowd. Chennai Super Kings were quick to react.
