Eddie Hearn, during his recent chat stated he particularly liked the discipline of Islam during Ramadan. Hearn, who has previously promoted Muslim boxers, sees this as an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the practices and beliefs of his Muslim fighters. Ramadan is a holy month in Islam where Muslims fast from dawn to dusk and engage in prayer and reflection which he find absolutely the most disciplined thing.
He stated, “You become a bit more religious as you get older. And I feel like I wanna learn more about the certain religion. And I feel like the discipline of Islam through Ramadan. I like the discipline and I respect that. You know I feel like in life there’s not enough of things and I think to respect a faith is something that’s good quality. Regardless, which faith that is.”

He added, “And you know when Ramadan occurs, you see the importance of that. I respect that it’s not something it never questions if that’s going to be broken…The people that I know would not do that. In boxing I’ve had before with Amir Khan I’ve had a conversation where people say I can’t fight it’s Ramadan.”
Indeed, Hearn’s interest in learning more about this aspect of Islam is his step towards understanding the different cultures and religions .
