WATCH: Cameron Bancroft grabs one-handed stunner in PAK vs PMXI practice match

The four-day practice match between Pakistan and Prime Minister XI started on December 6 (Wednesday). The PAK vs PMXI match is taking place at the Manuka Oval, Canberra. Meanwhile, Australian batter Cameron Bancroft took a one-handed blinder during the first innings of the match. The video of Cameron Bancroft’s catch is going viral on the social media platforms.

Cricket.com.au has shared the video on its official ‘X’ account. Bancroft caught the catch in the 90th over of Pakistan’s first innings. On the fourth ball of Nathan McAndrew’s over, Faheem Ashraf managed just an edge. After hitting the edge of the bat, the ball went straight towards first slip where Bancroft showed some agility just before the ball was going to touch the ground and completed a fine catch.

Talking about the PAK vs PMXI match, Pakistan decided to bat first after winning the toss in the practice match. Pakistan new captain Shan Masood has scored 156 runs after playing 235 balls and remained unbeaten for the day. Apart from Masood, Babar Azam scored 40 runs while Sarfaraz Ahmed amassed 41 runs. At the end of the play on Day 1, Pakistan have lost 6 wickets and has scored 324 runs. Aamer Jamal is set to join Masood at the crease on Day 2.

After PAK vs PMXI practice match, the Pakistan Cricket team will gear up for an exciting three-match Test Series against Australia. The first Test match is scheduled to take place in Perth from December 14. Shan Masood and Co. will look to win their first ever Test series against the mighty Australia.
