Senior all-rounder Hardik Pandya went a bit out of character as he celebrated animatedly after scalping a wicket in the ongoing IND vs AFG match. To note, Hardik was smashed for a boundary earlier in the over before he made an excellent comeback to dismiss Omarzai. This was Hardik’s second wicket in the match as he scalped Gurbaz earlier.

Before the stat of the match, official broadcasters for the World Cup, Star Sports organized a small celebration for Pandya. In a video going viral on the social media, Pandya can be seen cutting a cake. The likes of Gautam Gambhir and presenter Jatin Sapru were also seen in the video.
As mentioned above, Pandya had a good outing with the ball against Afghanistan. The senior all-rounder didn’t had much of a say during India’s World Cup opener against Australia. However, the senior pro came good in Delhi and will want to replicate his form with the bat if the situation allows him.
