However, in one of the rarest sights in cricket, Babar Azam lost his cool during the Durdanto Dhaka vs Rangpur Riders match in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2024.
While batting first in the 12th match of the BPL 2024 season, Babar Azam lost his temper and got into a heated verbal altercation with the opposing team’s wicketkeeper. Batting for his side, the Rangpur Riders, alongside Mohammed Nabi, Babar was seen shouting at Durdanto Dhaka wicketkeeper Irfan Sukkur.
The reason for the fight is yet to be known, but it seemed like Sukkur had instigated Babar. With things getting out of control, the umpire had to come in and calm things down.
