Coming to the IND vs PAK match, the Men In Blue achieved a commanding victory in a decidedly one-sided contest against their arch-rivals Pakistan. Opting to bowl first, Indian captain Rohit Sharma had a flawless day, as his tactical decisions and changes in the bowling lineup produced positive outcomes.

The Indian bowling lineup took early control of the game, pouncing on a Pakistan team clearly feeling the pressure, and dismissed the visitors for a mere 191 runs. Rohit Sharma, the man in form, then took charge with the bat, scoring a remarkable 86 runs from 63 balls, leading India to a convincing win.

This win has extended Team India’s flawless track record against Pakistan in the ODI World Cup at 8-0. Rohit Sharma & Co have also claimed the top position on the points table, boasting a net run-rate of +1.83. Their next World Cup 2023 clash will be against Bangladesh on October 19 at MCA Stadium in Pune.
