Angry Marcus Stoinis walks back after bizzare dismissal in AUS vs SA World Cup match

Marcus Stoinis was the second Australian player to be dismissed in a questionable way. Earlier Steve Smith also coped a tough decision.

The AUS vs SA World Cup match was grappled with some bizarre decisions during the second match of the innings. Marcus Stoinis who was caught on the bowling of Kagiso Rabada. To note, Rabada bowled a leg-side delivery which brushed the gloves of the Australian batter. However, Stoinis and his partner on the other end Marnus Labuschagne argued the decision on field. Alongside the Aussie players, the fans on social media also argued that Stoinis gloves were not touching the bat as the ball touched his hand.

Not only Marcus Stoinis, but Steve Smith was also left dejected after the hawk-eye adjudged him out. It must be noted that the on-field umpire had judged Steve Smith not-out. However, the South African side took a review as the hawk-eye showed three reds much to the surprise for the Aussie batter as he walked back to the pavilion while looking at the big screen and shaking his head.
