Irfan Pathan uploaded a video on his social media, where he asks his big brother about his plans for Sunday, the date of the India vs Pakistan clash. Hearing this, Yusuf Pathan says, “Sunday ko yeh ho raha ki itni door inko (Pakistan) ko jaana hi nahi chahiye. Walkover dedena chahiye. (Plan for Sunday should be that Pakistan shouldn’t travel (from their country to Dubai). Instead, they should give India a walkover.”
Harbhajan also asked Pakistan for walkover in 2021
Quite fascinatingly, another former Indian cricketer lambasted Pakistan before a high-profile ICC game. It was none other than Harbhajan Singh, who also asked Pakistan to give India a walkover before their ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021. Unfortunately for Bhajji, his prediction bit him back as Pakistan scripted their biggest T20I win ever over India as they hammered the Virat Kohli-led side with 10 wickets.
