PBKS find themselves in a perilious position ahead of the IPL 2025 auction. They have retained just Shashank Singh and Prabhsimran Singh, both who are uncapped players. It is a no brainer, that in IPL, a mediocre batting unit can still make a successful team, while a mediocre bowling unit is bound to bring trouble for the franchise. The management will have to create a team around these two players, or once again, the team will most likely have a poor season.

Arshdeep Singh has spearheaded the bowling attack for PBKS over the last few seasons. Being a first-choice bowler for India in the shortest-format of the game, the pacer has been consistent in delivering with the ball for the IPL side. He was initially roped in to PBKS in 2019 following which was bagged by the franchise for Rs 4 crore in the IPL 2022 auction.
