Virat Kohli heartfelt gesture to Eden Gardens ground staff viral, WATCH

Virat Kohli yet again showed that he has a heart of gold when he interacted with ground staff members at Eden Gardens & clicked a picture

Virat Kohli is known to be pretty expressive on the field and off the field. While the legendary batter has become quite mellowed down on the field, off the field, he sure knows how to win hearts. After equaling Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 49 ODI centuries, Kohli thanked the ground staff at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata for preparing such a sportive wicket.

In a video that is going viral, Kohli was seen thanking the ground staff and also was seen taking a photo with them. The ground staff members could not control their excitement and congratulated Kohli for his wonderful century, which helped India thrash South Africa by 243 runs.

Kohli played the perfect anchor role and helped Shreyas Iyer, Suryakumar Yadav, and Ravindra Jadeja to bat aggressively. On a slowish deck at Eden Gardens, India posted a mammoth score of 325 and later bundled Proteas out for just 83 runs. Jadeja starred with the ball in hand as he picked up five wickets. 

The southpaw was well supported by Mohammed Shami, Kuldeep, and Siraj, who chipped in with vital wickets.

Speaking about the match, India continued their winning streak as they thrashed South Africa by 243 runs to win eight games on the bounce. Virat Kohli scored a scintillating 101, and Ravindra Jadeja picked up five wickets with the ball in hand. India will next face the Netherlands in their last group-stage match on Sunday (November 12).
