Virat Kohli flaunts incredible fitness right before IND vs ENG ODI series

Virat Kohli's last ODI outing came in August 2024 when he toured Sri Lanka

Right before the start of the IND vs ENG ODI series, Virat Kohli has flaunted incredible fitness. Currently, the team is training in Nagpur ahead of the 1st ODI match. And right in India’s training session, Virat Kohli was spotted flaunting his six-pack abs. The ace Indian batter has always been the epitome of fitness setting huge standards across sports.

Virat Kohli has maintained a high level of fitness throughout his career. And even at the age of 36 years, he is maintaining a high standard of fitness. Arguably often referred to as the fittest player in cricket, Kohli will be eyeing to regain his lost form after disappointing outings against New Zealand and Australia.

Virat Kohli aims to regain form

Virat Kohli has been in very poor form off late. His performance in the Border Gavaskar Trophy has been rather poor. He managed only a brilliant unbeaten century at Perth. But the rest of his innings were poor. He managed to score just 191 runs in 11 innings in Australia.

After returning from Australia, the BCCI issued a mandate where the Indian stars were tasked to take part in domestic cricket. Virat Kohli made a comeback into the Ranji Trophy after 12 years. But he failed there too. He managed to score just six runs from 15 deliveries, showcasing that he is yet to hit his best form.

After 6 months, Kohli would be back in ODIs. He last played an ODI match back in August 2024 when India toured Sri Lanka. But even then, in the away series, he failed to produce big scores. He managed 24, 14, and 20, respectively, and will be ready to shrug off his rusty form.
