Virat Kohli failed to make a big score as he fell on 38 off Kagiso Rabada's delivery in IND vs SA 1st Test on Tuesday.

Team India’s star batter,Virat Kohli’s quiet phase in Test cricket continues as he departed on 38 in the ongoing IND vs SA 1st Test in Centurion. Kohli, who got a reprieve early in his innings, failed to make it count as he was dismissed by Kagiso Rabada in 31st over.

Rabada bowled an unplayable out-swinger that was initially angling in before curving away to get Kohli’s outside-edge and went to the wicketkeeper for an easy catch.

While Virat Kohli had a stellar year in limited-overs cricket, including a remarkable performance in the ODI World Cup where he was awarded the Player of the Tournament, he is yet to hit the same note in Test cricket.

India resumed after Lunch at 91/3, with Kohli and Iyer unbeaten on 33 and 31, respectively. However, Rabada struck twice in quick succession to put South Africa on top. Earlier, captain Temba Bavuma had won the toss and opted to bowl.
