While it’s been a fortnight since Virat Kohli returned from the Caribbean, he still seems to be in the holiday zone. The right-hand batter who is gearing up for Asia Cup posted a throwback picture of his stay in West Indies. Kohli was seen with better half Anushka Sharma in a restaurant outside Barbados. The foodie that Kohli is loved the restaurant’s food and ambiance, and captioned the post, “Must visit in Barbados @Cafealamer18 some of the best food we ever ate.”
Kohli was seen in a beach outfit wearing a blue T-shirt and printed shots, while Anushka aced the casual look by donning a blue shirt with white slip-ons and matching sunglasses,. Both happily posed for the camera and seemed to enjoy the Caribbean vibes. Kohli’s beautiful picture with Anushka went viral, and a lot of fans and celebrities started commenting on it.
Actor Deepika Padukone was one of the first ones to like Virat’s Instagram post. A fan commented on his picture with Anushka Sharma, “Capturing beautiful moments together.” One more said, “Best couple.” A person also wrote, “Love how you both love food!”

Speaking about Kohli he is now gearing up for Asia Cup 2023, which is set to begin on August 30. The former India captain did not get enough game time to bat during the ODI series against West Indies.

After a short break, attention shifts to Asia Cup for Kohli. During the ODI series against West Indies, the legendary batter did not get much time to spend in the crease as Rahul Dravid experimented with team combinations. But during Asia Cup, there won’t be any scope for experimentation as Kohli is the key player in the middle order.
India kick off Asia Cup by playing against Pakistan on September 2. Kohli has already begun training session and is keen to make the Continental Cup count by being amongst the runs.
