Indian skipper Rohit Sharma was in his absolute best as he thrashed the Pakistani bowlers in IND vs PAK World Cup match in Ahmedabad. Chasing a total of 192 runs, team India got off to blocks very quickly as openers Shubman Gill and Rohit gave a blazing start to the Men in Blue. Despite losing Gill and Kohli, Rohit did not stopped his onslaught as he put pressure back to the Pakistani bowlers.

To note, Rohit stroked an excellent century in his last outing against Afghanistan. The right-handed batter continued his good run against the arch-rivals Pakistan. Rohit never let any Pakistani bowlers settle as he took the attacking approach. With pacers getting a beating, Babar Azam decided to introduce spin. However, that did not changed anything as the Indian skipper smoked Nawaz for a big maximum in the field restrictions.
Earlier in the match, Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to have a bowl first. Indian bowlers were right on the money as they reduced Pakistan to just 191 runs. Jasprit Bumrah, Ravindra Jadeja, Hardik Pandya, Kuldeep Yadav and Mohammed Siraj scalped two wickets for the home side. For PAK, skipper Babar Azam completed his maiden fifty against the Indian side in ODIs.
