“I got offered a movie scene”– Sean O’Malley reveals

O’Malley recently joined Andrew Schulz on an episode of his podcast, Flagrant. He addressed a bunch of different topics, including his UFC fights against Petr Yan and Aljamain Sterling. When speaking about his future plans and potential business deals, Schulz asked O’Malley if he would like to get into movies or something in that line.

O’Malley responded with, “I got offered a movie scene. I can’t say, we signed an NDA. But I turned it down.” The UFC fighter then confirmed that it was an offer from Hollywood. And by accepting it, he could’ve followed in the footsteps of other UFC fighters like Conor McGregor, who starred in movies.

However, the Bantamweight champion then explained why he turned it down. He said, “Nah, I’m not ready for movies yet. Like I said, I got a lot to do, and beating up Chito [Vera] is next.” This shows that O’Malley is taking his title defenses and his title reign seriously. He confirmed that Vera was next in March but didn’t know where. However, we have no doubt that Suga Sean will eventually venture into other aspects, like movies. It’s only a matter of time.

What do you make of Sean O’Malley’s claims? Do you think him rejecting roles in movies is a sign that he will hold his belt for long?
