Travis Head tested Covid negative, set to play in RCB vs SRH IPL 2025 clash

SRH will be boosted by the return of the Southpaw in the RCB vs SRH clash.

In a big boost for the Sunrisers Hyderabad, Travis Head, who was ruled out due to Covid-19, is set to return in the upcoming RCB vs SRH IPL 2025 clash. On Thursday, SRH bowling coach James Franklin confirmed that Head has fully recovered.

Sunrisers Hyderabad’s campaign in the 2025 season has been one of their worst. Languishing in eighth place with a mere nine points from 12 matches, the Orange Army have endured a season filled with inconsistency and missed opportunities. To make matters worse, Travis Head’s diagnosis further compounded their challenges, robbing them of a vital asset in their batting lineup at a critical juncture. However, SRH will be boosted by the return of the Southpaw in the RCB vs SRH clash.

Despite their struggles, SRH remains determined to close the season on a positive note. With nothing left to play for except pride, they will aim to showcase resilience and end their campaign with a strong performance. Their next fixture against Royal Challengers Bangalore at Lucknow on May 23 provides the perfect opportunity to do so. While the match may not affect the playoff race, it is a chance for SRH to salvage some momentum and give their fans a reason to cheer.
