TN beat KAR Highlights: Tamil Nadu complete hat-trick of win – After ruining Karnataka’s chances in the SMAT 2021 final, the Vijay Shankar-led Tamil Nadu once again got the better out of Manish Pandey-led Karnataka in the 2021-22 Vijay Hazare Quarterfinals at the KL Saini Ground, Jaipur. Tamil Nadu continued its impressive record against Karnataka and registered another massive victory. With this win, Tamil Nadu qualified for the VHT 2021-22 Semifinals. Karnataka looked in trouble right from the start in the game. Firstly, they conceded over 7 runs per over while bowling and then succumbed to the scoreboard pressure while chasing. Devdutt Padikkal’s batting woes continued as he departed for a duck while Manish Pandey failed to impress either. TN’s Medium-pacer R Silambarasan picked up four wickets to hasten the slide.

Earlier, After being put in to bat first, Tamil Nadu put a mammoth total, 354/8, on the board courtesy of N Jagadeesan’s ton and Shahrukh Khan’s quickfire half-century. Dinesh Karthik (44), R Sai Kishore (61), and B Indrajith (31) also chipped in with crucial runs to help TN post a big total.
