Pakistan Cricket: ODI World Cup 2023 – The ODI World Cup schedule was revealed on June 27, with 10 venues chosen by BCCI and ICC to host 48 matches during the 13th edition of the showpiece event. Kolkata is one of the venues chosen to host five matches, and more importantly, it will host a few Pakistan matches. Naturally, with Men in Green playing in the City of Joy, Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) President Snehasish Ganguly has promised tighter security arrangements.

“We have already hosted India vs Pakistan in T20Is. But we are having two Pak matches. These matches are tough. Organizing a World Cup is challenging. We are prepared to take on any kind of challenge. In all the IPL matches we had lovely crowd,” CAB President said to India Today.
