Tamim Iqbal to retire?

As per Cricbuzz, Iqbal will take a call on his international career after meeting with BCB chief Nazmul Hasan. The previous meeting between the two ended abruptly, the reported claimed. The veteran batter had made himself unavailable for the ODI World Cup 2023 owing to differences with the BCB management.

“Tamim said he has his own plan and therefore he requested us not to include him in the central contract list,” BCB cricket operations chairman Jalal Yunus told reporters at his office on Sunday.

“He (Tamim) is supposed to meet the BCB president after the national election to decide the next course of action. Till then we have to wait,” he added.
